Data Collection for Academic Survey on Minimalism and Ethically Minded Consumer Behavior
An overview:
Dr Naman Sreen , Assistant Dean & Professor at Jindal Global Business School, Sonipat (JGBS), is leading this research study. He was looking for an online survey management platform to collect responses from Audience panel from across India.
About Ethical Consumer Behaviour:
“Caring, compassionate, fair, friendly, generous, helpful, hardworking, honest, and kind” - these characteristics could describe a person's moral identity. However, when researchers combine this with consumption behaviour or shopping patterns; the doors to ‘ethical consumer behaviour’ open up. Minimalism or ethically minded consumer behaviour has caught the latest attention in the research field where researchers are looking to study the paradigm shift towards ‘less is more’.
What the researcher was looking for:
Single platform to run & manage multiple studies parallelly
Each study is to be displayed to a unique pre-defined set of participants only
A healthy mix of participants from different age, income, location, profession etc.
Getting honest and meaningful responses
How our Online Audience Panel helped:
ThinkSurvey offers random sampling technique. This enables researchers to collect data from a mix of demographics from across geography randomly. The researcher got the data within the timeline. Researcher was able to get trends for parameters like – minimalism and ethically minded consumer behaviour.
